Speakers will include:
Anton Johnson Lambeth TUC and Greater London Association TUC LGBT Officer on 'Hackney Pride' and, Kevin Courtney, Deputy General Secretary of the NUT who will be talking about the current economic crisis after the election.

Affiliation to Hackney TUC:

Hackney TUC is a formal part of the national trade union movement, bringing together representatives of branches whose members live or work in the borough. While affiliations have been growing in recent years, there are many trade union activists on this email list whose branches are not affiliated.

Affiliation strengthens Hackney TUC and makes us more accountable. It means that your branch delegates have a direct say in the policies and priorities of Hackney TUC. Affiliation is relatively inexpensive (often as little as £10 for a small branch), for more details please contact Jane. There are also a number of delegates from last year whose subscriptions are overdue.
