The newly formed Hackney Alliance to Defend Public Services is meeting on the Wednesday, 28th, at 7.30 at the Trinity Centre in Beechwood Road Dalston.
HATDPS was set up on July 14th after two meetings of 50 people, all of them active Hackney trade union and community activists, with the aim "To encourage and support opposition/resistance to the running down, closure or privatisation of any public services in Hackney, and encourage and support campaigning for improvements needed."
