SERTUC LGBT NETWORK Hackney Pride Is on Saturday 4 September - starts 2 pm from side of Hackney Town Hall with a march down Mare St and ending at Shoreditch Church just across from the George & Dragon for a rally & picnic. Speakers along with David Braniff-Herbert from Hope Not Hate include - Diane Abbott MP (Labour Party) and Betty Gallacher - UNITE LGBT Committee Chair and Chair of UNITE London & Eastern Region LGBT Committee. SERTUC is supporting Hackney Pride along with Greater London Ass. of Trade Union Councils; Hackney TUC; UNITE London & Eastern Region; GMB SHOUT!; UNITE 1/1148 Branch; GMB Sex Workers & Adult Entertainment Branch; Queensbridge Labour Party Branch; OUTRAGE!; Behind Bars; Joiners Arms; QIA; Bar Wotever Thierry Schaffauser (GMB) is also the Chair of OUT East the organising body for Hackney Pride from Hackney TUC and Thierry addressed last Saturday's GLATUC full monthly meeting for Hackney TUC / OUT East about Hackney Pride and the effects of the recession on LGBT workers.
