The spectacular 'Hackney Unites against the cuts' tabloid newspaper is at the printers. It looks beautiful, it is packed full of articles written by members of our communities and it provides advice on how to organise against these cuts. In short it is fantastic. There are articles from the Labour and Green Parties, from faith leaders, from a GP, from refugees, from Caribbean elders, From Day-Mer, from HCVS, from trade unionists and many more.

Keep the Post Public - National Rally, 15th December 2010
Join politicians, trade union leaders and hundreds of postal workers at a national rally to protest against government plans to privatise Royal Mail. All welcome.

The European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), in reaction to the austerity measures in force in a number of European countries, is sponsoring a major European mobilisation on 29 September, with support from all its member organisations. Around 100 000 people are expected to take to the streets in Brussels and protest actions will also be held in different European countries.
